Women are invited to visit any or all guilds, and join one for the enjoyment found in the fellowship of a smaller group.
The Women’s Auxiliary provides a one-day (Saturday) semi-annual Rummage Sale in April and October that has become a mainstay of the Pomona Valley. Side-by-Side Club was organized in 1948 as a group for married couples of Pilgrim Church who felt there was a devout need to bring themselves together in service to the church and community. "It was realized that in our united service, we shall come to a fuller realization of our own personalities and capacities."
In year 2000, the club opened its membership to anyone who wishes to join. The club membership of approximately 50 is currently comprised of ⅓ singles and ⅔ married couples. Each member is assigned to one of four "crews" so that they may get to know each better in a smaller group. The crews meet periodically for social outings and to plan the programs for an upcoming evening.
The club gathers on the second Saturday evening of each month with the exception of July and August. The evening normally consists of a meal, a short business meeting and an informational program presented by a member or guest.
